WC&S is here to help those experiencing domestic violence throughout the entire healing process and beyond. Your donations make this possible.
The journey leading to the difficult decision to escape an abusive relationship often leaves domestic violence survivors feeling alone and without hope. Your generous support makes it possible for those we serve to feel peace and relief, often for the first time. Thank you for helping us to provide advocacy and comfort through the many lifesaving programs at WC&S.
“I was scared of my abuser and scared of what people would say when they saw what they did to me. You looked me in the eye, held out your hand, and welcomed me. I slept so well that night."
WC&S served 7,743 adults and children experiencing domestic violence during our last fiscal year through programs and services such as:
- Support groups
- Hotline services
- Emergency shelter (with a space for beloved pets)
- Legal and medical advocacy
- Education and outreach
- Children’s advocacy program
- Individual counseling
- ...and more.
Compassionately serving thousands of survivors and children each year requires significant time and resources. Your donation provides the opportunity for each unique survivor to receive what they need to build a new future for themselves and their family. Hope for a brighter tomorrow is truly a priceless gift.
WC&S MISSION: We will strengthen our ability to meet the individual and evolving needs of those affected by domestic violence by investing in the growth of our people, deepening community engagement, and amplifying the voices of all survivors.
